I had an hour to kill this morning so I popped in my local pRon shop today and decided to have an acoustic session. I played all of the Taylors & Stonebridge Acoustics and was impressed by them all - especially the stonebridges. I still like my Ovation and would like to try a more up-market version of the model I have but it may be time to change my allegiance
I also want to try a Seagull (made by Godin I think) and a few other brands - they hadn't got a lot of choice today.
Anyway - its something else for the wishlist.

I think you're right - Seagull are one of the Godin family - as, I believe, are Simon and Patrick.

Had another session in a different pRon shop today - played a Simon & Patrick and a Martin DC-1E. Played the Martin for quite a long time and was getting very close to pulling the trigger the more I played it

Think I'm going to try a few more models though first - want to make sure I make the right choice

If you buy a Martin (or a Taylor), Marc will never speak to you again...

But I'd ignore him and buy the one that suits you best!
