I wouldn't if I were you. It might make me cry. ;) (and SickString has said some very complimentary things about the BFG..)

Anyway, back on topic, I tend to leave the Lowden in DADGAD, or sometimes DGDGAD. It is such a rich and lush intrument that it can pull off the lowered tuning with ease. In fact, as an experiment I've had it tuned to CGCFGC ad it sounded immense. For a good example of how versatile Lowdens are in terms of tuning, check out Nick Harper's live solo stuff.
