I've got a Squier Affinity P-Bass that I've had for a while now. It's fine for what it is, but I think I'd like to replace the pickup, which is pretty poor really, with something better. Hopefully encourage me to use it more.

Any suggestions?

Something like the Seymour Duncan SPB3 is a good all rounder. Plenty of output and a well-rounded tone. Not too pricey either. Just a shame Iron Gear don't make bass pups
